Features
Car Dimension Checking - If the car fits
fully inside the gauge, then the car meets the standard dimensional
limits (max 3” height, max 2-3/4” width, max
7” length, and min 1-3/4” wheel spacing). If
rules allow a height greater than 3”, then the height
checker can be omitted.
Underbody Clearance Checking - The Clearance
Checker is 3/8" high. If the bottom of the car rubs on
the Clearance Checker, then it does not have the proper clearance.
The clear sides let you visually check the clearance
to see what part of the car is rubbing.
Wheelbase Checking - If you have restrictions
on the car wheelbase, marks can be made on the transparent
acrylic for comparison against the car wheelbase.
Start Pin Checking –If the front of
the car extends past the leading edge of the start pin then
it will have an unfair advantage.
