Instructions for
applying our dry transfer decals on your Pinewood Derby car |

1.
The design is printed on a "carrier sheet". The sticky
back is covered by a "tissue backing". Do not separate
these two sheets.
|

2. Cut out the design that you want. Cut through both sheets. |

3. Remove the tissue backing from that design only. Set the tissue
backing aside. You will need it later. |

4. Place your design face up on the car surface. Do this carefully
as the design will stick wherever you place it. |

5. Smooth it down with your finger starting at one edge. |

6. Use a blunt pencil or similar object
and rub down the design.
Rub
all of the design with moderate pressure until it starts to separate
from the carrier. |

7. Lift one corner of the carrier sheet slightly with your fingers
but not enough to lift any part of the actual decal away from
the car. Rub the part of the decal closest to the raised edge
just enough to transfer it to the car surface. Keep lifting
the carrier sheet as you rub, paying special attention to the
edges of the design as you go. If you miss transferring a
piece of the design, reposition the carrier sheet over the design
and complete the transfer. |

8. Use the tissue backing to gently rub the design to smooth it
on the surface.
