We used your block, wheels and axles last year and came in first place. This year we didn't use your products and came in 7th. You can bet that we will be placing an order next year....S. Conner Got 1st place, wasn't even close! Of course
a great design combined with I have two sons in Cub Scouts and so I bought 2 sets of your graphite coated speed axles and lathed wheels. I thought the price was a little steep at the time but nothing can replace the looks on their faces when they came in 1st in Pack and now District in Tigers and Webelos. They also finished 1st and 2nd overall in both races but the cars flip flopped their placement from Pack to District....J. Ramer We bought the graphite coated axles from you. My son won his pinewood derby race yesterday. Not by a mile but the car seemed to get faster as we went through the competition. Thanks so much for being part of his success! Howard L My Cub Scout son had his race on Saturday and he came in 2nd, out of a field of about 20 cars. He was thrilled! The number one car only beat my son's car by about two to three inches at the finish line. It was a lot of fun. Roger G
Well our race was last Saturday, my two son's had picked out their car from the five I purchased from you. I prepared them as in your book best I could. We had 40 cars registered. One of my boy's took 2nd place overall. My other son Gabe, also finished 2nd in his pack (bears) and received a metal. I just want to thank you again for your assistance, I will be back next year with three boy's ..... I want to space them out so they do not race against each other.....James K
I purchased the polished axles. They worked great. My grandson’s derby was last night and he came in 2nd. ...Tom W
We had the race last Sunday and am happy to report that the car that my son Ross entered won first place in our troop. What was interesting was that we won all four heats by more than a car length each time. I am sure that there were a number of factors that went in to Ross's car winning including the design of the car (it was aerodynamically sleek), we carefully located the weight with some of the weight we purchased from you internally inserted, and most of it located towards the rear of the car, (our car weighted exactly 5.0 oz), but I am also sure that the products that we purchased from you contributed to the performance of this car. For instance, we purchased the Axle Guard to help keep the axels at the proper alignment to the car and have the wheels at the correct space from the body of the car. This alone I think made a big change in the performance of the car - I used the axle guard to check a car we had built in a prior year (we took second in that year) and found that the axels were not lined up properly and the wheels were touching the car. We also used a lot of graphite - and I know that this alone made a big difference in the speed of the car. I know that other scouts did not spend the time or put the thought in to the design of their cars that we did - but it was a fun father/son project....Ken and Ross H
